Events Surrounding the German-Indonesian Energy Cooperation

Indonesia has set the target to achieve net zero emissions by 2060, aligning with its commitment to a sustainable and low-carbon future. In this context, the German-Indonesian Energy Cooperation, built upon more than 30 years of bilateral energy cooperation, plays a crucial role in advancing shared interests to facilitate the energy transition. To address underlying energy challenges, the partnership provides comprehensive support, including evidence-based policy recommendations, capacity development assistance, execution of studies, and collaboration with various partners, including ministerial and implementation bodies. Many of these activities are complemented by public events that serve as platforms to disseminate knowledge, foster stakeholder dialogue, and strengthen collaboration among government, industry, academia, and civil society in support of the energy transition.
