Implementers

United towards a Decarbonized Energy System

GIZ leads the German-Indonesian Energy Cooperation Hub Secretariat, and is responsible for the liaison with other implementing organisations funded through Germany, like KfW, PTB, BGR, and IKI consortium partners (GGGI, others).

KfW Development Bank has been helping the German Federal Government to achieve its goals in development policy and international development cooperation for more than 60 years. In this regard, we are both an experienced bank and a development institution with financing expertise, an expert knowledge of development policy and many years of national and international experience. On behalf of the German Federal Government, and primarily the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), we finance and support programmes and projects that mainly involve public sector players in developing countries and emerging economies – from their conception and execution to monitoring their success. Our goal is to help our partner countries fight poverty, maintain peace, protect both the environment and the climate and shape globalisation in an appropriate way.

PTB is active in a great number of developing countries and newly industrialized countries and promotes projects for the establishment of a quality infrastructure within the scope of the German development coopperation. In the 1960s, technology transfer and the establishment of metrological partner organizations still were in the foreground. Today, the cooperation mainly relates to the establishment and development – according to the market needs – of all relevant institutions of the quality infrastructure in the partner countries as well as to their interconnection and the use of QI services by the users. PTB advises partner governments and ministries, promotes the institutions of the quality infrastructure and also supports small and medium-sized enterprises – work which is highly appreciated worldwide
